Robin has over 20 years of Commercial Insurance Service experience, working for large agencies in the Buffalo, NY area.  Just prior to joining Shine, she worked for a financial institution handling their multi-state Workers’ Compensation claims.  Being back in the Agency setting, servicing commercial accounts, is Robin’s favorite job by far though.   

Robin is currently a member of several Insurance-related organizations.  She is the immediate past president of the Federation of NY Insurance Professionals, current treasurer of the Insurance Women of Buffalo, and is an active member of WNY Insurance Associates, Buffalo Claims Association and The Insurance Club of Buffalo.  

She grew up in Buffalo, NY.   She and her husband are high-school sweethearts who settled in a suburb of Buffalo, where they raised 3 children, all of whom are now married with children of their own.  Robin and her husband enjoy spending time with all 10 grandchildren, ranging in age from 4-18.  They try to attend as many sporting events as possible that their grandchildren are involved in and Sundays are always family dinner days.  Because their children all live within a 5-mile radius of them, they all take turns cooking Sunday Dinners and having everyone over.  Sundays are always wonderful, chaotic, and fun family days!

Robin’s other interests include being a part of a Maternity Dog Rescue that saves pregnant dogs and their puppies from high-kill shelters.   Her friend started the rescue in June of 2020 and Robin stepped up to help and ended up becoming a founding board member and treasurer, along with a few of their other friends.  Since they began, these ladies have saved over 350 dogs and puppies and have placed them in their own loving, forever-homes. 

Also, whenever time permits, Robin and her husband enjoy traveling, and attending live theatre performances at a local Opera House and at downtown theatres.
