Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the youth in our local community located in Bloomington, IN. We provide extensive camps and programs during after school hours, holiday breaks and summer break. We have three core program areas in which all program activities are formulated: Healthy Lifestyles, Academic Success, and Good Character & Active Citizenship.
Community Kitchen of Monroe County
Community Kitchen works alone and in collaboration with others, to eliminate hunger in Monroe County and surrounding areas through direct service, education and advocacy. We provide warm, nutritious meals to individuals in need Monday through Saturday, free of charge, with no questions asked. We also distribute meals to children through Feed our Future, Summer Food Service Program, Backpack Buddies and Head Start, and to chronically ill and home bound seniors through Nutrition Links and Senior Links.
Cardinal Stage Company
Cardinal Stage was established in 2006 by Founder and former Artistic Director Randy White and a dedicated board of directors. From the beginning, the goal has been to develop Cardinal Stage into a professional regional theatre company. As a regional theatre, Cardinal Stage programs a range of material to compliment the diverse interests of Bloomington, Indiana and the surrounding region. Cardinal Stage shows are critically praised and popular with audiences throughout South-Central Indiana. Over the years, Cardinal Stage has grown into the largest arts organization in Bloomington, creating opportunities for dozens of actors, designers, and technical crew members each season.
Monroe County Humane Association
We have been responsibly and compassionately protecting, advocating and educating for animal welfare since 1956. MCHA is dedicated to promoting the welfare of animals, strengthening the human-animal bond, and providing access to humane education across our community.
Mother Hubbards Cupboard
MHC exists to ensure that all people have access to healthy, whole foods. When visiting the Hub, community members can find groceries in our food pantry, a space for shared learning in the garden and kitchen, resources to help grow and prepare food at home, and opportunities to build community and address the root causes of hunger.
