Marketplace Insight from NPR

Karl Sutton leaves his mobile greenhouse in Montana. He sells spinach as part of a farmers co-op, and likes that non-profit business model for his health insurance, too.

We listened to this NPR clip on the radio while driving in to work this morning.  It offers insight into the marketplace and how it works.

If you listen closely, it also addresses how insurance works in general.  Particularly the idea that some kinds of insurance are profitable and others aren’t.  This is why you get a discount when you package home and auto.  Can you guess which of these two isn’t profitable?
