- What are your hobbies?
- Traveling, rock painting, gardening
- What made you decide to work in insurance?
- It wasn’t planned. I started as an office worker in a small agency and after a short time, just knew insurance would be my career choice. I enjoy working with and meeting new people and every day brings new challenges — it’s NEVER boring!
- If you volunteer, where and why?
- I am the treasurer of 7 Hearts Maternity Rescue. My friend started the rescue in 2020 and I signed on to help her out. I’ve been a volunteer and board member ever since.
- I volunteer and serve on the boards of the Federation of NY Insurance Professionals and the Insurance Women of Buffalo.
- I am a volunteer of the Western NY Insurance Association and Buffalo Claims Association
- I enjoy the networking and the knowledge I pick up by being a part of these groups.
- Lastly, I volunteer for the Board of Elections because I enjoy working with people. I care about the government, and my husband says it’s because I’m nosy!
- What’s your ideal day look like?
- My favorite day is one where I get to spend time with my family and friends. I get so much joy out of being with people I care about!
- What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
- I graduated from dog grooming class to save money on grooming our 3 non-shedding dogs. I am terrible at it and I hate it! After taking the class and buying all of the equipment, I now gladly pay for our dogs’ grooming – it’s hard work!
