We founded Shine to change the way people feel about insurance.
One way we do that is our Rise By Lifting Others program.

To date we’ve donated over $50,000 to 18 organizations

Here's how it works:

Each year we choose three organizations.

Every client can choose their favorite.

A portion of their insurance premium is donated accordingly.

This year's recipients include:

COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Providing food security

Community Kitchen provides free nutritious meals, nutrition education, referrals to other agencies, and a clean, comfortable social environment for patrons, staff and volunteers.

Through daily operations and educational outreach, Community Kitchen works to educate the public about the extent of hunger in Monroe County, explain probable causes of hunger, and provide ways to respond to hunger needs.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Life skills and a safe place for kids and teens

The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe space for kids and teens when school is not in session. After school programs, summer programs, and activities during breaks give children who may not have other healthy environments a place to grow and learn.
